Company Profile

VetPath Laboratory was introduced as a privately owned, full service laboratory offering veterinary diagnostic and consultative services and Coggins testing to the veterinary profession in 1991. VetPath solely concentrates on veterinarian medicine and performs routine and some specialized laboratory tests for large animals, small companion animals, avian, and exotic species. VetPath is also a USDA approved nationally known (Equine Infectious Anemia) Coggins testing lab. Our nationwide focus has allowed us to build strong relationships with veterinarian clinics and animal owners all over the country.

Internally, VetPath Laboratory is divided into several separate divisions. One division of our company is solely responsible for the testing and reporting of Equine Infectious Anemia or Coggins Testing. A second division of our laboratory is responsible for diagnostic testing of specimens of all small animals (dogs, cats, ferrets, etc.) and large animals (horses, cows, ostrich, goats, etc.) and the reporting of these test results. A third division is responsible for the supervision of shipping and receiving of laboratory supplies to and from clients. A fourth division is devoted to the overall management and engages in such activities as accounting and sales.

VetPath Laboratory offers Microbiology, Cytology, Histology, Hematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Serology, and Endocrinology services to Veterinarians in small, large, and exotic practices. In addition, we are a large Equine Infectious Anemia Laboratory processing a high volume of Coggins Tests each year for horses in every state of the USA.

Cytology and Histopathology services are provided by board certified Veterinary Pathologists. Clinical consultations are provided by board certified Veterinary Internal Medicine Specialists.

Diagnostic tests and Coggins tests are performed daily; results are called, faxed, or mailed as soon as completed. Consultative services will be available to customers upon request.
